BusinessObjects Migration Phases
| PHASE 0 (Optional) - Migration Assessment Study
(Estimated 3 to 10 days)
- Provide complete audit of existing BusinessObjects 5.x or 6.x environment to determine full scope of specific migration requirements
- Analyze results of audit and make recommendations on best migration approach and choices
- Define and document the prerequisites for customer acceptance and sign-off (Customer to take approximately 1 week to review and sign off on plan)

| PHASE 1 - Planning
(Estimated 1 to 4 days)
- Audit existing Business Objects repository
- Discuss and plan out the new XI R2 environment design based on customer’s current Business Objects implementation and requirements
- Define and document the technical steps for the migration

PHASE 2 - Migration to Test Environment
(Estimated 4 to 10 days)
- XI R2 Knowledge Transfer to understand new architecture
- Installation and configuration of BusinessObjects XI R2 in test environment with Knowledge Transfer
- Migration of existing BusinessObjects 5.x or 6.x content to XI R2 test environment
- Implementation of Security Configuration
- Knowledge Transfer for administering and using the new XI R2 environment

| PHASE 3 - Customer Testing
(Estimated 14 to 28 days)
- Testing of reports and universes in new XI R2 environment by key users and Subject Matter Experts
- InfoSol to provide 20 to 40 hours of remote support to assist in troubleshooting, answering questions and consulting InfoSol to provide Version Manager XI on 30-day trial to assist with report comparison
